2 Million Dollar Bills

One Man and His Mission To Make 2 Million Dollars

The 2 Million Dollar Bills Dream Is One Step Closer, The Barbados Plan Is Happening!

I have finally made it to Barbados and the next stage of my game plan for making 2 million dollars is on track. My goal is to develop a variety of business interests in Barbados, which will help me to become a millionaire. I plan on achieving my goal of making 2 million dollars within 5 years, can I do it? Yes I can do it, the only person that can determine whether I will succeed or fail is, MYSELF.

Talk is cheap and anybody can say that they are going to become a millionaire and then they just sit around and wait for it to happen. In fact I use to do the same myself, how can you expect it to happen, when you a are wage slave. You will never become financially free as long as you work for the boss man and your life and finances are dictated to by someone else.

I have in the past being involved in business opportunities which basically were not worth my time and effort and were complete failures, and it took me a long time to get back on track and start working towards something more than just being a miserable wage slave, stuck in a rat race, wasting my life away, Don’t Let Past Business Failures Stop Your Dream of Running a Successful Business.

Eventually I came to the conclusion that the   the rat race was killing me and the only person that could change things was, you guessed it, ME. I was like everyone else in my work place, I would spend my time moaning about how much I hated the place, the pay was crap, I could never get my holidays when I wanted them, they were making us work harder and harder, they were really trying to get the last drop blood out of the stone.

It was I suppose fortunate that I received a nasty knee injury while I was working, which resulted in me being off work almost a year, when my work place very kindly made me an offer of just over £15,000 to leave. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I was never going to go back anyway! I eventually used my time off work wisely, I formulated my escape plan, I have Finally Escaped the Rat Race, But I Aint In Paradise Yet!

I wanted out of the UK, my wife and myself had a family house in Barbados and we both like the Island, so it was a logically move to relocate to Barbados. I then had to figure out how I was going to make money. I had to look at my previous college and work experiences and figure out if I could turn them into business ventures which would support my family and help me to achieve my goal of becoming a millionaire.

In order for me to achieve my goal of becoming a millionaire and make the 2 million dollar bills dream a reality, I needed to formulate a game plan that would allow me to work towards achieving my aims.

My main skills and what I like to do is plan and organize things, as well as the advertising and promotional aspects of a business.

I knew from personally getting married in Barbados last year and the fact that know one on the island could give my wife and myself the kind of wedding we wanted. Every wedding planner we talked to in Barbados was offering what I would call a conveyor belt wedding, they all lacked inspiration and Innovation. There was no way we could leave such an important day as our wedding day, in the hands of people that were clearly  not on the same wave length as us.

My wife had worked as a wedding planner in London but she didn’t want to have to fully organize her own wedding because she knew the amount of time and effort that it would take up, she wanted to enjoy the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day itself without the headache of overseeing and organizing everything herself. But at the end of the day we were left with no choice but to do everything ourself’s.

My wife and myself pooled our skills and we created an amazing wedding, it involved a huge amount of thought, time and effort to create our vision of what we wanted.

My main skills were dealing with various suppliers and arranging to get them delivered to Barbados from America. I also arranged the catering team, marquee and created the outdoor ambiance at the venue. My wife dealt with and arranged all the more creative and design elements of the wedding. We pooled our skills and created one of the most amazing weddings ever in Barbados, for people that aren’t rich. Celebrations Caribee was born!

The first business venture was created and is called Celebrations Caribee, which is a wedding and event planning company. Through myself and my wife, who is my business partner, weddings and events will reach a level of creativity, innovation and quality that has been lacking in Barbados until now.

Another company that I have formed is called Awaken Paradise Property Consultants, the goal of this company is to arrange, organize and oversee the building of properties for people. I can source land, build or renovate properties to a high standard, which is done to UK standards and timescale’s, not Bajan! I can arrange top quality builder, architect, and a trustworthy lawyer.

Awaken Paradise Property Consultants came into being after seeing family members and friends of the family being ripped off by a variety unscrupulous builders. Too many people have been ripped off in Barbados by happy smiling builders that will promise you the world, take your money and end up building you a dangerous house or in some cases not building anything at all. I have seen too many returning nationals and tourists alike being cheated out of their hard earned money.

I also have a tourist related business which will offer something unique for people coming to Barbados, this will be live for the xmas season, if everything goes according to plan.

Making your business legal in Barbados is similar to setting up a company in the UK, as you are probably aware, as soon as you start using the services of a lawyer you end up spending lots of money. But it is worth it to have the start of your vision made a legal entity.

It is fantastic to see my business dreams and aspirations starting to take place and the first stages of the 2 million dollar bills game plan taking shape.

The Poker Dream, Living the Dream, I Want to Make a Cool Million

author Posted by: garryaw on date Jun 3rd, 2008 | filed Filed under: Poker Tuesday

It’s another miserable day in London, the rain is lashing down, it’s kinda depressing. I haven’t played poker for over a month. I have recently moved to London as a stopgap, before I immigrate to the Caribbean. As a result of this I haven’t had the time to play poker, when I play poker I like to be relaxed and my mind needs to be clear,  unfortunately that  hasn’t been the case since I got to London. But now is the time to get back on track with the my poker, Texas Hold em to be precise, with an occasional game of Omaha, when the mood takes me. I feel I have finally got used to the mad and hectic world, which is London, my mind has acclimatized to this crazy city.

I have decided to stick to playing Tournaments with a top prize of over £2,000, with a goal of obviously winning one in the near future. My best result so far was winning a 90-person tournament where I won around $450, but that was in the distant past. I feel I now have reached the stage where I need to aim for bigger prize money to motivate me and to make it worthwhile.

My goal is a simple one I want to make a cool million dollars from playing online poker; I know it can be done, because there are  countless young kids out there have already done it. Am I aiming too high, is my dream too much of a fantasy, is my poker playing skills at a level where I can compete with these young kids? Time will tell!

Before I begin playing poker I like to have my environment nice and tidy, this helps to unclutter my mind; I then prepare myself mentally for the battle that lies ahead. I have a nice relaxing bath, I get focussed, I remind myself to play tight and aggressive from the start, not to let myself get suckered into doing something I shouldn’t, such as trying to bluff with nothing, at the wrong time, and going all in and hoping I don’t get called, sometimes you don’t, but more often than not, you do!

I also like to have some supplies with me, to help keep me focussed, like any good poker player I stay away from alcohol; my snacks of choice are a large bag of Jelly Babies and 3 cans of Nutrament Energy & Protein Drink. It is a huge mistake to move away from the poker game, until its break time. I have done it in the past and learned from the mistake, it can mean the difference between winning some prize money and getting nothing.

I’m ready, focussed and prepared to start back on the online poker dream and I’m aiming high, a Million Dollars is in my mind.

I will be doing a follow up article later today, where I will be sharing the secrets of my poker success in the tournaments which I play in today on Tues 3rd of June.

For me poker is one of the most legitimate forms of legally making money online Is poker a Legitimate Online Business Opportunity?

Caribbean Dreaming, Sand, Sea, Sun and Business in Barbados

The dream is getting closer; my desire to escape the rate race of the UK is almost upon me. For some people the prospect giving up everything that they know and are comfortable with is a terrifying prospect. Personally I see it as being the greatest adventure of my life so far, I’m filled with excitement and enthusiasm at the prospect of leaving my home, my city, my country to go and live and start up a business in my new home in the Caribbean.

I was recently asked the question, from a friend that has also had enough of the rat race and would like  to escape the UK, why did you chose the Caribbean and why Barbados in particular. That is the 2 million dollar question!

I have been to the Caribbean and in particular Barbados on many occasions and have a family connection with the island. Because of this I’m very comfortable, familiar and know what I’m getting when I move there.

What will I be getting? Virtual year round sunshine, some of the best beaches in the world, a laid back lifestyle, friendly people, lower crime rate, criminals still receive proper sentences for their crimes, food that tastes so much better and healthier than what I get here in the UK. These were not my only criteria for choosing to relocate to Barbados. Other major factors are that they speak English, (I know it takes time to understand the Bajan version of English!) and they drive on the correct side of the road.

I also had the major concern of how I would earn enough money to enjoy the great Caribbean lifestyle that I crave. I suppose this is the biggest obstacle that stands in anyone’s way, that dreams of escaping to a place in the sun. During my many visits to the Caribbean and Barbados, I would research various business ideas that I felt would work there. It took a lot of research and planning, but finally feel that I have found my own particular niche, which will provide me with a good income, with the potential to grow it into something substantial.

My advice to my friend or anyone else that wants to immigrate to there own particular paradise, is do your research, you must go and visit, and more than just once. Unless you’re rich enough, not to have to worry about money, you will have to figure how you are going to make money. Paradise will become worse than where you’re escaping from, if you have to constantly worry about how you are going to make money to live.

I will be doing a series of articles relating to escaping the rat race, and business and life in the Caribbean. Escaping the Rat Race in Scotland, Just Do it!

Sparkling Cloudy Lemonade, Viva Le France

I have worked hard all morning from about 6am, on varies projects, which are part of my 2 million dollar goal. It was a reasonable nice day, well I mean by Aberdeen standards it was almost as good as it gets for this time of the year. The sun was shining and it was only slightly cold, which was good enough motivation for me to head down to the beach for a bit of rest and relaxation.

I find if I take an hour or two out and recharge my batteries, I come back feeling refreshed and things just seem to flow better. I headed into the local supermarket for some refreshments which I would enjoy as I watched and listened to the waves hitting the shoreline.

All I can say is that I came across a bottle of French Sparkling Cloudy Lemonade, made by a company called Le Marche François, this stuff was absolutely amazing. The French don’t just make some of the best wines in the world; there Cloudy Lemonade is the business too.

After an hour of relaxation and lemonade drinking I was ready to get back to work to continue developing my ideas, which will help me to make 2 million dollars.

The French Sparkling Cloudy Lemonade and bracing sea breeze had certainly stimulated by brain cells, Viva Le France…….

If It wasnt for the fact I had to go back home to do some work, I would have loved a cool bottle of this lager, which sounds if it would have been perfect for relaxing by the sea , Hollande 1620 Lager
