author Posted by: garryaw on date Oct 21st, 2008 | filed Filed under: Self Impovment

Under large amounts of exposure subliminal messaging can have a significant effect upon your thought processes.

It can be used to form habits, and even new behavior patterns - so much so that the use of subliminal messages (either quick flashing pictures, text, or subliminal sounds) in advertising has been completely banned.

Subliminal messaging has been used to help people with a range of personal development issues. They work by sending positive messages to your subconscious mind to change any negative behavior into positive behavior, and change your life for the better - in the area you want to improvements in.

Technically subliminal messaging works as a form of “mild hypnosis” - it bypasses your “critical function” so that you won’t logically question any information you are receiving (because you can’t even hear itJ), your mind takes it as truth, and you will soon notice a personal improvement.

Subliminal messaging can be used for many different purposes, from improving memory, motivation, or confidence, to helping you to learn a new language faster, improving your study habits, or ensuring success in your chosen sport.

In use for over 50 years, the techniques of subliminal messaging can be used by anyone from any race, age group, or gender. It is completely safe, they can help you to solve a personal problem, or help ensure your success whatever your goal.

By aligning your unconscious mind with your conscious goals subliminal messaging enhances your chance of success, and ensures no hidden mental barriers or limiting beliefs get in your way!

Let the Universe Help You

Let the universe help you. You are not in this world alone. You never have been, although your belief may have created that illusion.

Tell the universe what you want. Tell a friend. Tell yourself. Write it down on a list. Be clear and forth right about what you need and want. Talk as if you were talking to a friend. That is not control. That is learning to own your creative power-your power to help create your life. Then let go. Do not stand tapping your foot, impatiently waiting. Simply let go, the way you would if you trusted your friend to respond positively, in a way that was best for you.

Go naturally about the course of your life. Listen to your heart. Listen to your inner voice. What you are guided to do, where you are guided to go, where your attention is directed, the people you meet, the phone calls you receive, the experiences you have-even the problems that arises-these are some ways the universe can respond to you.

Open your eyes. Look around. See how the universe responds. Watch how it dances for you, with you. You are connected to a magical loving universe, one that will come alive for you, dance for you, in ways you cannot imagine- but in ways you will come to know as true.

Look within, too. Sometimes the most gentle, quiet, flickering thought-that glimmer of an idea, that awareness of a need or desire, or that small bit of inspiration or intution,- is how the unvierse prepares us for what it want us to do or recieve. Our inner voice, the one in our hearts, is an important part of the way we’re guided and led down our path.

You stand at a gateway now. It’s the door to universal love.

Seeking Inspiration, Its Not Easy in London

author Posted by: garryaw on date May 30th, 2008 | filed Filed under: health & Fitness

Life in London is pure chaos for me; I find it so annoying, that it is almost impossible to find a quiet beauty spot, without throngs of people. It’s a mad, crazy, unforgiving, soulless city where good manners don’t seem to exist. I use to enjoy my periodic 4 or 5 short visits to London every year to visit family, but now that I have being living here for almost 4 weeks, it has made me see the other side of the city. All I can say is being a tourist in London is fun, but living here and knowing I cant go back to Scotland to escape is hell.

When I was back home in Aberdeen, if I ever needed to have a relaxing wee break, I would head down to the beach and walk along the promenade or go to Balmedie beach and walk along the miles of golden sands. What I would give to head down to either the River Don or the River Dee in Aberdeen and enjoy the natural beauty. All those great places were within a 5 - 20 minute walk or drive from my front door.

Being able to jump in my car or walk to my favourite chill out places was something that I took for granted, and now that I cant do it, I appreciate them even more. During my many trips to my local beaches and rivers, they helped me to spawn numerous business ideas and provided the spark for articles for my blogs. Looking back it was most certainly therapeutic, and helped to keep my mind calm.

If I want to go anywhere in London I have to spend for ever taking buses and tubes to reach my destination, all the happy smiling faces that you encounter on your travels is a joy to behold, meaning if you ever see any, it’s a miracle!

Also good manners are in short supply, I was at Heathrow the other day, meeting a business associate, we decided to take the bus to her hotel. We were about 3 rd from the front of the queue, and soon as the bus arrived it became like a rugby scrum, pure chaos. We almost had to beat people back; they were in such a panic to get on the bus.

The funniest thing about it was that everyone got on, and there were still some spare seats! Another thing that I couldn’t help but notice, was that 90% of the rugby scrum bus queue, were foreign, Indian, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Russian, etc. I get the impression that these guys come from countries where good manners doesn’t exist.

London may be a wee bit warmer than I’m use to in Scotland, but it seems to be just as wet, does it ever stop raining here? The air sure as hell doesn’t smell as fresh as back home, I have never suffered from hay fever in my life, until I got here, and the tap water is the most disgusting water I have ever tasted in my life, it isn’t drinkable. Another thing which I find funny is all those kids hanging around on the streets, trying their best to look mean and menacing, and graffiti seems to be a huge art form in London, those guys are brainless fools, I meant to say really talented artists!

Even for all its bad points London still has a lot to offer visitors to the city, I think I may have to try and do some touristy things, during the 4 weeks that I still have left here, before I head off to start a wonderful new life in the Caribbean. Maybe that will help me to reignite the spark that has faded a wee bit since I got here.

I have downloaded some pictures of Crane Beach, Bottom Bay, Foul Point and Bath Beach in Barbados and pinned them to my wall, I can feel the inspiration oozing back. It wont be long until I’m heading to these beautiful, places when I’m in the need of some rest and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.

Here is a great article from the travelers stories blog which, prettty much sums up what I love about Barbados Barbados My Place in the Sun, The Best that the Caribbean Has to Offer

Exercise, Motivation, Relaxation and Work, All In One Journey!

It was reasonable nice day yesterday so I headed down to the Aberdeen beach for a power walk. Jogging is just too painful for me; I see them running past me in the dozens, with their aching bandaged knees, looking like they are going to drop dead any minute, from a combination of exhaustion and pain.It was 8.30am the sun was shinning a wee bit and there was the usual bracing breeze which is ever-present at the beach in this great city. There is nothing quite like a power walk in these conditions, it sure as hell wakes you up good, the scenery is inspiring, it puts my mind in a positive mode and gets my brain cells working overtime with business ideas.

I always carry my trusty notebook and pencil with me, so that I can write down any good ideas that I think of while I’m on the road. A great and simple system that even good old Richard Branson uses.

I’m not a crazy fitness freak so I after I have walked the whole of the beach front I stop for 30 minutes or so for some relaxation. Where I just sit and watch the waves, and breath in the healthy sea air. Unfortunately I never had any of that delicious cloudy lemonade which tastes so good to drink.

Its amazing how much you can get out of a 90 minute walk at the beach, I got some exercise, it provided me with motivation to keep on working hard to achieve my business goals, I even got some great relaxation, and finally I felt inspired to come up with some good ideas for my businesses. Which is all good for me, as I get ever closer to my new life in the Caribbean.
