Goals are Achieved Through Action!

So how are those ‘New Year Resolutions’ (NYR) going? Apparently by now (the end of January) 35% of NYR’s will be broken. Regardless of whether you are jumping back on the horse and picking up where you left off or trying to maintain your momentum the most important thing to be doing now is ACTION!

I truly believe and have fully experienced Creative Visualisation in action, the more hip reference to this now days is ‘The Secret’ or ‘The Law of Attraction’. Using the process of Creative Visualisation I have won awards, traveled, acquired my dream job, found great parking spaces, received phone calls from distant friends etc…

But Visualisation is only part of the process and it does not work without ACTION, you can sit and dream about things all you wish but it will not happen unless you take some steps to actually make it happen.

ACTION can be internal (working on yourself) or external (getting up and physically doing things). To keep myself on track with my actions I write them down. By writing your required actions down you achieve several things:

1. you get what you need to do out of your head and create more mental space for other productive thoughts.

2. what you need to do is there in-front of you , this can act as a real motivating annoyance until it is crossed of the list (which is a nice feeling :-).

3. You have a record of all you have achieved and realise how far you have moved towards your goals. The small steps are VERY BIG motivators to keep the momentum going.

What I do

My process is to simply have a monthly action plan. This consists of a single piece of paper, at the top is my big picture goal and my goals for the month (never more than three). Then I place a line down the middle of the page. I devote one side to my business and the other to my personal life. As the month progresses I add more actions as I need to. At the end of the month I reflect on my goals and where I am at with them. I file this away and create another one for the next month. At the end of the year I review all my monthly actions and am ALWAYS proud of how much I have achieved.

This works for me and you never know it could work for you too.

Cheating Scottish Referee, Mr Brines

author Posted by: garryaw on date Apr 23rd, 2008 | filed Filed under: Scotch Scorner

Have you heard the news today, It’s groundbreaking stuff, Mr Ian Brines has admitted on reflection that he got it completely wrong and shouldn’t have disallowed Aberdeen’s deserved equalising goal against Celtic on Saturday 19th of April. He admits in hindsight due to bad positioning he made a huge mistake and that it really was a legitimate goal.

Mr Brines must have been the only person in the world that thought Zander Dimaond had handled the ball before he scored his equalising goal. He was seeing things that weren’t there, the only thing I can think of is that he took some form of banned medication before the game, is it too late to drugs test him.

I may be cynic but I truly believe that there were sinister dark forces in action at Celtic Park on Saturday. I personally feel it warrants a police investigation into this matter. Aberdeen were cheated out of a deserved draw, because the referee made, what he claims was a huge mistake. For many others and myself we are of the opinion that he deliberately disallowed the goal, you can use your imagination as to the reasons why.

The bottom line is, if the roles were reversed and Celtic had equalised, Brines wouldn’t have even thought about disallowing the goal. In fact he would have added on another 5 minutes injury time and  giving Celtic a fictitious penalty just to make sure they won.

The biggest Joke of all is that Zander Diamond is going to have to appear before the SFA disciplinary committee, for calling the ref a blind asshole, when he disallowed the goal. I would like to know what disciplinary committee is Mr Brines going to be appearing before?

If you are reading this Mr Ian Brines, so called Scottish football ref, I would recommend that you try some of the brain training games I have written about, they could only help you, and you need lots of help!….5 Games That Will Improve Your Brain Power  & 5 More Games to Improve Your Brain Power
