Like many new bloggers my ultimate aim is to make a reasonable amount of money from my blog, I don’t expect to or plan on making a full time living from blogging. My ultimate aim is to build it up to a level where I’m making $3000 per month, not a huge amount of money. When you come online and want to make money it’s vital that you learn how to make instant cash, otherwise you’ll spend a lot of time doing the wrong thing and quit. So, in order to learn it you must have your own product and PayPal, because it’s hard to make instant cash with most other affiliate programs, because you have to wait for money to arrive later, which is NOT what you want.

If you are using “dog training tips” then something like 101dogtrainingtips,  works fine. If it’s a general niche for dogs then something like “dogcaresecret.com” would work.

Since you have a product you now simply need to create an order button and your site is done! Now you can accept orders!

Tip #7: Write articles and create incoming links to rank in Google

Now it’s time to market the site and you can do that by getting links from other sites. This can be done using articles or socialbookmarkingsites, squidoo, YouTube and more.

The real beauty of blogs is that they require very little technical skills to update and maintain them, unlike traditional web sites.

Blog Content, you will have to decide what you are going to write about, the subject matter of your blog is of vital importance to you. Whatever topic or topics you choose to write about you will have to be prepared and knowledgeable enough to do so on a very regular basis.

 Publishing your Blog, next you will need to decide the publishing method you are going to use to make your blog available to the world.  There are literally thousands of business opportunities to choose from, many of which are a complete waste of time or even worse they are a downright scam.  My motto when looking for new business propositions is to assume that it is a scam until it is proven otherwise, I never give the benefit of doubt. Why should I, it is my time, effort and money that will be utilized in whatever opportunities I chose to get involved in.

Simple steps which will give away the scammers game:

1.    If they mention the words easy or make ridiculous claims like you can make $500 in 20 minutes, it’s a scam.

2.      Ask for the names and contact details of 10 people that are involved in there business. You must then go and talk to these people and find out more.

3. Take a close look at how you actually make money out of the opportunity, whether you can understand how it works, do the company make outlandish claims as to how much money you will be making.

4.     If it is some sort of winning gambling system it’s clearly a scam, they do not exist.

5.     If you are expected to recruit other people to make money, do not waste one second considering this type of system, it is clearly a scam.

6.     Very few MLM type systems actually work, for more than a handful of people.

7.    Be wary of any vague claims that the company makes or claims which they cannot back up with evidence. I

8.    Always do a thorough Google search and find out as much as you can about the company.

9.      By following the above advise, you will ultimately find business opportunities that will offer what you are looking for, and that is the potential to make money.

My advices is always take your time, and do as much research as possible, then go and do so some more research, I think you get the picture! If something looks too good to be true, it usually is. There is no such thing as easy money, if you are looking to get involved in a business opportunity you have got to be prepared to put the necessary time and effort into making it a success.

 I recently gave a seminar to folks interested in starting their own online business. Most of them were looking for information about shopping carts, search engine optimisation hosting, and tech related issues. I believe they were all stunned when I explained that I would not address any of their questions until they told me their niche.

It felt as though 5 minutes passed by before any one said a word. I could tell that not one person knew their niche. I expected this. In fact most hopeful net entrepreneurs miss this very important first step. Choosing your niche.

It is so easy to get caught up in technical details, marketing, cash-flow charts and such, but what good is stressing about those concerns when no niche is chosen? It’s like putting the cart before the horse. Step 1 in creating an online business road map to success is defining your niche.

Websters.com defines a niche as a situation or activity specially suited to a person’s interests, abilities, or nature. It also says a niche is a special area of demand for a product or service. A niche is a target market. It is focused, not broad.

Here are a few examples of niches: golfing for women, hot rods of the 1970’s, Greek desserts, and organic herb gardening. Here are examples of topics that are not niches: golf, cars, food or gardening. Do you see how a niche is focused and a topic is broad?

Determining your niche is the first step to producing a successful online business. Your business should be built around 1 niche. Your products or services should provide solutions to problems or concerns within your niche. Your site content should provide information about your niche. Creating an online business around your niche helps you rank better at search engines, positions you as an expert, and creates buzz in your industry.

Here are a few simple questions to help define your niche:

- What are your hobbies?

- What experiences/skills have you collected through school and jobs?

- What is your biggest passion in life?

- What hobby/experience/skill/passion would you enjoy building a business around?

- Have you often been told by people that you should go into business doing a particular thing? For example, sell your famous muffin mix or sell your web design services.

My best advice is to choose a niche that you are passionate about. Building a business takes effort and patience. You will have a much harder time motivating yourself through the difficult periods of business if you dislike your niche. So choose wisely.

Follow your gut and pick the best niche for you. Income will follow where passion and hard work lead. Begin researching your niche industry and then move forward with your plans.

A successful online business road map will look something like this:

- Choose niche.

- Research industry. Find problems people have in that niche.

- Brainstorm a service or product to solve people’s problems, or become an affiliate for an existing product/service.

- Choose a hosting company that provides everything you need in one low cost price. I want to become a millionaire, very easy words to say. But in reality it isn’t quite so easy becoming one, well not for most people. What separates those that succeed in becoming millionaires and those that spend there whole lives trying but never achieve it. What is the secret formula? Are some people just luckier than others? Are some people just in the right place at the right time? Or is it just down to plain old hard work and having good ideas?

There are countless books; CD’s, seminars and web sites that can help you to find the secret to becoming rich and successful. I imagine all the prophets that are offering to teach us how to become rich, are becoming even richer teaching us, and I suppose some of them have even become rich from teaching people their secret of making money.

Is there a secret formula to becoming rich, can we be taught how to become rich, can anybody become rich. I would yes to each of them.

The secret formula -  I think is having a strong enough desire, unshakeable believe, and the will power to do what ever it takes to become a millionaire. You have to truly believe that nothing can or will stop you from reaching your goal.

Can we be taught how to become rich - I feel that we can teach ourselves how to become successfull; we are the masters of our own destiny’s, its up to ourselves to research and develop ideas that offer the potential to be successful. We have to be willing to work harder, to expand our horizons; we must come out of the box in order to fulfil the potential we are all born with.

Can anybody become a millionaire - yes everybody has the potential to become rich, its how badly you want it, how hard you are prepared to work at it and what sacrifices you are willing to make to achieve the end result. Most people tend to settle for what life gives them and dream a little about hopefully winning the lottery one day. Most of us allow mediocracy to creep into our lives and then allow it to own us, we accept it, and it becomes our friend, its normal.

My personal journey to achieve my goal of making 2 million dollars is something, which I truly believe I can do. I won’t listen to anybody that tries to persuade me that it’s an impossible dream, I would cross over the road to avoid them and having them infect me with there negative vibes. 

Before I quit my job I would mention my plans to some of my former work colleagues and virtually all of them would look at me like I’m a crazy guy. I don’t think I had one word of encouragement or positive feedback from any of them. I mentioned my same plans to some of my friends who run there own successful business and the response I get is one of encouragement, support and an attitude of, you can make a success of it, you can succeed, you will succeed, its about time you moved on did something for yourself.

If we allow ourselves to be surrounded by negative, mediocre and uninspiring people some of it will cling to us, we will allow ourselves to become like them. Seek out positive, successful, inspiring people and you will reap the benefits. You will see a massive change in your own attitude and beliefs as to what you can achieve from life.

I know that I have to work harder, longer and think smarter than I ever have if I want to achieve my goal of making 2 million dollars.  I’m still in the process of cleansing my body, mind and soul from the negative forces, I chose to work with for 10 long years, but every day I feel I’m getting one step closer to where I want to be.
