The Online Poker Dream, Make a Million Dollars!

Is it really possible to start with a small amount of money, like $100 dollars and turn it into 1 million dollars by playing online poker? I know there is literally millions of online poker players out there that dream of becoming rich through playing poker.  Is it just an unachievable dream that  will stay nothing but a dream, or can it be done.

Well for the record I would personally say it is more than just a dream, making a million dollars from playing poker, is something that is most definitely achievable. For the non-believers out there, it has been done a by a number of online poker players already. Legendary online poker players like  Chad “M8kingmoves” Batista, Brian Townsend, Russell “rdcrsn” Carson, Jim “P0KERPR033″ Campbell,  just to name a few have made fortunes playing online poker.

If you want to become successful at online poker it will take a lot of hard work, dedication, constant self-analysis and skill. Most of the top poker success stories play poker for between 8 –14 hours on a daily basis, and have been doing so for many years. Lets be honest, those of us that play a bit of poker and are gradually increasing our bankrolls, probably play that in a good week.

The wealth of knowledge and experience, which these guys have from playing so much poker on a regular basis, along with there willingness to learn and improve as poker players is what has taken them to the level that they have reached.  I know from personal experience that the more poker I play, the better I get at reading hands, my judgment gets better and my all round play and confidence reaches higher levels.

But like most people I have family commitments, businesses to deal with and as much as I love to play poker my desire to play for 8 or more hours a day isn’t there.  Maybe I need to start playing for longer periods of time and more often and see if I can start to seriously improve my bankroll. Maybe   I should try and sleep less. Maybe I can start living the poker millions dream. Maybe….
