2 Million Dollars, Fake Motivation On the Road to Success

As part my mental training on the path to achieving my goal of making 2 million dollars, I’m constantly seeking new ways to keep me focussed, and help keep me on track when my desire or motivation starts to slip a wee bit. Having something visual to look at can be a great motivational tool to keep you riding along on the road to success.

It was just yesterday when one of my friends asked me if had bought any of those fake 1 million dollar bills. A light went on in my head and I thought that they would provide me with a constant visual reminder of what I’m trying to achieve.

I finally found a gift shop that sold them; I will frame them and hang them on my wall in my office, when I get to my new home in the Caribbean. The million dollar bills that I bought may be fakes, but to me they are very real. I will see them every day; they will keep me focussed on why I need to continue to think smart, work hard and to stay focussed on achieving my goal.

The million dollar bills look real and like me I have a real goal, which I plan on achieving in the not too distant future.

The legendary Steve Pavlina offers some great advice on motivation, that I would recommend taking a look at…….Motivation for Smart People (Sans Chest Pounding)

  1. brian Said,

Anything which inspires and provides motivation has to be good. This great article has provided me with an idea to help my own cause.

I’m glad to be of assistance……….

After going through some of your posts, i finally get it why you named it $2 million dollars. Because that will equal 1 million pounds. :)

I hope you are still on track with your poker games. And that you find it is one of those legal, not-fishy-business criterias you had set.

I write reviews on selected online poker rooms. If you have some time, do leave me a message for feedback!

Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to play poker for the past 2 weeks, I have been doing too much during the day and have been too tired when it comes to poker time. I plan on changing things this week, and getting back on track. I’m kind of missing the buzz of playing poker.

I think there are probably some dodgy poker rooms out there that it seems like it is impossible to win, but there is still plenty of honest companies out there.
